The Moonlit Black Cat Tavern now available on Audiobook on Audible

I am happy to announce that The Moonlit Black Cat Tavern, a collection of short stories based in a medieval “D&D” style fantasy tavern, is now available as an audiobook on Audible. Narrated by the wonderful Isobel Hamilton Adams, the diverse and eccentric characters working and living in the tavern will entertain and excite you in this thrilling new audiobook.

Welcome to the Moonlit Black Cat Tavern, where humans, demi-humans, and monsters come together to laugh, drink, eat, sing, and find ways to get along. There’s no fighting, fussing, or killing. Only laughter, love, and companionship between the many races of Kralthorn and Ghelpher. On a stormy night, the Bradbury Witch pays an unexpected visit to the tavern and finds more than she bargained for. Follow her adventures within this strange lodging off the beaten path as she discovers more about this magical place.

Download your copy of The Moonlit Black Cat Tavern on Audible, step up to the bar, pour a drink, and enjoy the sights and sounds of this fun tavern.

As the “BER” months approach, Pumpkin Spice Lattes are all the rage once more. You need a good book to read as you sip your favorite Autumn drink and I have a great place for you to find one. In the heart of Virginia, a book festival brings the best independent authors together in one place.

The Fredericksburg Independent Book Festival was born from a simple yet powerful reality: independent authors need a platform to showcase their work and connect with readers. Come out to Riverfront Park in Fredericksburg, VA, on Saturday, October 3, from 10am to 4pm. More than 150 independent authors will be on hand with books from a variety of genres. Come out and have your pick of new titles to add to your TBR pile. Visit fredbookfest.com for more information.

I will be attending this wonderful festival with all my award-winning fantasy and steampunk books to add to your reads or maybe even an early Christmas present (it’s never too early!) Pick up my latest book, A Maker of Magic, before its October 28 release or the third book of the fantasy series, The Last Magus: Demon Song! These are just a few of the books I will be offering at these events. I hope to see you there!

The Last Magus: Demon Song now available on Amazon

Great news to report! The Last Magus: Demon Song is now available for order on Amazon as a paperback and ebook. Continue your journey into the world of Attlain through the adventures of Marcus Gideon, the Last Magus of Attlain.

The third book in The Last Magus fantasy steampunk series picks up five years after Dragonfire and Steel as Marcus Gideon and his Silver Moon Guild race_ across Attlain to stop the demon sorceress Vasileesa Morozov from unleashing the demons of Nyx.

“All I can say is… WOW!!. What an EPIC Saga. From the very first pages, I was pulled into a richly crafted world filled with fascinating lore, an engaging magic system, and epic battles that kept the adrenaline high.

“The pacing is one of this book’s greatest strengths. It wastes no time, and once the story takes off, it rarely lets you catch your breath. I absolutely loved every second of it. The twists and turns kept me constantly guessing. Just when I thought I knew where the story was headed, another revelation changed everything. It made for an incredibly engaging reading experience.”

Interview with USA Today Best-Selling Author Helen Garraway

I had the unbelievable honor of being interviewed by USA Today best-selling author Helen Garraway. Helen is the USA Today and Amazon Bestselling author of the Epic Fantasy Sentinal series and the Fantasy Romance SoulMist series. She has been writing about the world of Remargaren, a fantasy world of her creation, since 2016. If you get a chance, check out her amazing fantasy stories. They are worth the read for any fantasy fan.

Helen offered me the chance to sit down for an interview about my new dark fantasy, A Maker of Magic. I opened up about the inspiration for the story, my journey as an independent author, and what’s next for me. It is something we all do in the vast community of self-published authors… We support each other because we all know what the other is going through.

Check out the full interview HERE and make sure to check out Helen’s story and her wonderful books too. You can preorder A Maker of Magic at Amazon, and I’ll be looking for ARC readers soon, too! Also, if you’re in Central Pennsylvania, come to the Key City Steampunk Convention NEXT WEEKEND in Gettysburg, PA, August 7-9, to meet me in person.

A Maker of Magic is now available for Pre-Order

He cannot cast magic like other mages. He creates it.

Levi Richter has spent his life turning a magical limitation into an extraordinary gift. When he discovers Mysterium, a rare ore capable of transforming enchanted weapons and armor, his invention could finally give Engressia an advantage in its endless war against the undead armies of the Ebon Abyss.

But such power comes at a deadly price.

With enemies closing in on Stormwind and a ruthless conspiracy targeting his family, Levi must fight beside the formidable Blademancer Danielle Nichols and master the magic only he can forge.

To save his kingdom, Levi must fulfill an ancient prophecy and become what the darkness fears most: A Maker of Magic.

I am happy to announce that my dark fantasy, A Maker of Magic, from Franklin Publishing, is now available for pre-order at Amazon.

This story has been in the making for more than two years. I wrote it in less than three months, yet it has taken me this long to finally see it published. Check out my earlier blog post to learn about the journey into writing this dark fantasy novel.

Plus, for those looking for an early copy, I am hoping to have books available at my next book signing event, the Key City Steampunk Convention in Gettysburg, PA, August 7-9. See you there!
